Well, both Yuri anime and Yaoi anime have a gay couples theme, but Yaoi is a male pairing and Yuri is a female pairing, they're are different levels of yaoi and yuri too from Shoen-ai or Shojo-ai to graphic scenes which could includes sexual encounters!.
There are some good yaoi and yuri out there that are both cute, funny and sexy!. Perhaps you'll want to look some up if your not offended by that sort of show, I think there pretty cute!.
