Guitarists, help with nuts?
What is the standard width for a acoustic guitar nut? What is the best kind of nut (i.e. graphite, bone, brass)? Does a brass nut make the strings rattle or buzz?
Answers:
brass gives you a teeny bit more sustain, the coice is yours really if its a dark rosewood neck Id go with graphite, just for colour cordinationality.......... Id go for bone if the neck is maple or light coloured.
