okay so while i was out i dunno what happened exactly
but my bro says my guitar fell and now the neck part is snapped just under the head
its a Les Paul

can something like this be fixed?

Answers:

You need to take it to a licensed Gibson dealer and have them look at it. They'll probably have to send it to Gibson in Nashville to have the work done, but you don't want anyone other than the Gibson guitar company working on it because NO ONE knows the ins and outs of their guitars like they do. The Les Paul is not exactly a solid body-through-neck guitar (if it was, you'd be out of luck) but replacing a neck on a Les Paul is a tricky business. Don't be surprised if they tell you it's cheaper to replace the guitar than to repair it. But hey, you don't know for sure unless you ask.
