What was the reason behind Warhol's now famous silver wig and bright blue contact lenses?
He looked almost normal in his earlier pictures With his ash blonde hair and brown eyes. Why did he decide to where a silver wig, and whats with the bizarre looking blue contacts?

Answers:
From what I understand Andy was both a bit vain and kind of misanthropic around the edges.
He was going bald so he got the wig, at one point he thought he was an ET and later wanted to made into a robot. The odd look was part of his sci-fi fantasy and also he knew it put people off. He did like making people feel uncomfortable.
