Tuning a child's Guitar.?!

Question:

Tuning a child's Guitar.?

I have a child size guitar - that I cannot for the life of me get tuned. Is there an alternate tuning for guitars of this size, or perhaps a different type of strings I should be using?

Answers:

No, you don't need different strings (unless they're medium, maybe, they take higher tension to tune) or alternate tunings. If it's a really, really cheap guitar the tuners could be crap (slips back when tuned too high, etc.). If you're just tuning by ear, get a tuner. If you're using a tuner and you positively CAN NOT tune it, take it to a guitar store and they will help you with it.
