I know you need one to have a good carreir in acting, but how do you get one??
Answers:
Before you even consider getting an agent, you should get a resume. A resume is pretty much a list of all the acting, modeling, etc. experience you've had. If you haven't had any acting experience, I would highly recommend theater as a place to start. It not only adds to your resume but it also gives you very valuable acting experience. Having a resume before you talk to an agency is best because agencies are more likely to accept talent who have some experience already.
When you think you're ready to apply to an agency, just look up the agencies in your area, choose which one you think is best, and give them a call to schedule an appointment. For me this appointment was kind of like an audition in front of the head of the agency, where she told me what she liked and didn't like, and said I could be part of the agency.
