1. Cheapest.
Use the mic on your PC, if you use Windows, you can easily record your voice using start ->Programs ->Accessories-> Entertainment -> Voice recorder. You just need a PC microphone. And as you record it as a wav file, you can copy those files to a CD or send by e-mail.
2.
Buy a voice recorder with mini cassette. Sound quality is not top but simple enough.
3. Expensive
Buy a Digital sound record studio with multiple channels. (Check Boss, Korg, Yamaha etc) You hook up mic and record your voice, you can edit, mix with real music or other instruments etc. It's more professional but complex.
