How to tune a guitar 1 half step down?!

Question:

How to tune a guitar 1 half step down?

Answers:

Tuning a half step down, would make the Strings from top to bottom Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb (b=flat). This is exactly one half step from Standard Tuning E, A, D, G, B, E. Hopefully you have a tuner to get to those notes.

But if you don't. The easiest way, is to hit the 4th fret of the A string and tune your D string to that tone. Once that is done. Hit the 5th Fret of your A string and match it your open new Db String and match the tone. Then hit the 5th Fret of your low E string and match the tone to the open new Ab string. Then hit the 5th Fret of your D string and match the open G to match that tone. Then hit the 4th Fret of your new Gb string and match it to your open B. Then match your 5th Fret Bb string to match your open E string. Then all 6 strings are one half step down.

The above poster, has you tuning your low E to a B, which is way more than one half step down.
