Are there any OLD My Chemical Romance fans still out there?

I've been a huge fan of MCR since January 2004, which may not seem that long, but compared to the majority of their fans nowadays it's like an eternity. Even then when I first got into them maybe 1 out of 4 or 5 people knew or heard about MCR (this was before their 2nd album release), whereas now it's 100% of the population...

So my question is: Are there any MCR fans out there still who have liked them since the old days? What do you think of them now and their new fanbase?

I could go on FOREVER about this topic, but I want to know other true fans' opinions.

Yeah I think when I heard their music it was in late 2003. And it is really crazy how everyone knows who MCR is now, compared to where they started out as just some tiny band. And I'm so glad that they are getting respect from more people, becuase they deserve it. But of course that means the more fans they have, the more haters too.

I'm kind of on both sides of how older fans feel about the new fanbase. I don't have a problem with the people that started liking them not too long ago, because maybe they haven't heard of them before. But I really think they should check out their older music to see where MCR started, and how the band and its members have changed over their musical career.
