For Christians!?!

For Christians!?

In today's CHristian music, do you think we are sugar coating the truth sometimes? (im a little frustrated with today's Christian songs)



Also, while sharing The Truth with some non Christians and former Christians, do we ourselves sugar coat Christianity?


I mean I'm not saying we should force things down people's throat, cuz thats not what Jesus would want us to do and thats not what he did either when he was around

Buf if we earnestly and genuinely reach out to non Christians and former Christians and share the Truth and leave it at that, don't you think that's enough? It would just light a spark or bring some curiosity

If we just talk to them and pray and let God do his work in them, then I believe we have done our jobs and welcomed another person into our Christian family

Since you posted in the Entertainment section, I have no problem answering your post. But, it may not be an answer you'll like.
What it comes down to is, you Christians do not have a lock on the "truth." It's not as if your religion is the only one in the world. Every person has their own "truth" and for you to even SUPPOSE that it is alright for you to discuss yours, offer it, or "plant it like a seed" is immoral in the extreme.
It is NOT your (or anyone's) place to offer your beliefs, even though you make the mistake of thinking Christ wanted his followers to be "fishers of men."
The only acceptable way to "enlighten" others to your particular religious philosophy is when those others ASK you about it first.
It is totally arrogant of you to think you can say one word about your faith to anyone unless that person asks first. Faith is the most deeply personal thing anyone has. For you to assume you can spread yours around without being invited to do so by the person you wish to "enlighten" is nothing less than sacrilege.
Remember, as the Buddhists (who, frankly are FAR more enlightened than the Christians) say, "When the Student is ready, the Teacher shall appear."
So, keep your "Truth" to yourself and allow others the dignity of their "Truth" without being challenged or audited by you, unless they invite you to do so.
