Question:
Keeping a callus for guitar?
I'm going out of state for a week, so no guitar. I've recently begun strumming a steel string-not seriously, but serious enough that I don't want to lose the small callus I managed to develop. I realllly don't want to have to develop it again.
Is there anything I can do so my callus won't leave?
Answers:
Keep it dry, if you get it wet use rubbing alcohol on it to dry it back out. Definitely don't pick at it, or it may come off. Use your fingernails to press it occasionally to keep it accustomed to the pressure.
