Is it hard to learn to play the drums?

Is It hard to learn? Are the lessons expensive on average? And I know this doesn't matter but sre there many girl drummers out there?

I started lessons at my school recently.
they take some getting used to.
You need to have good ryhthm and have to abilty to do different things with each hand.
Hard to begin with, but with most things, it gets easier as you go along.
I guess they're expensive, but most music lessons are.
