Are you allowed to bring a camera to summerfest?!

Are you allowed to bring a camera to summerfest?

because friends who went last year had pictures of them there..but on the summerfest site it says they're not allowed. what is your take on it?

yeah i live in the madison area.

I usually find that there are too many people for them to check bags at big concerts, but just in case they did I made a sandwich pack up, and took half the bottom layer away, and hid my camcorder under there right up against the wall of my bag so that when I opened it it looked like just sandwiches and a drink bottle....turns out I didnt need to worry coz no one gave a hoot, got some great footage of Eric Clapton back in Janurary.
