Getting ipod video worth it?

my step mum is giving me $300 2 buy anything. but it has to be one item. so i am thinking of an ipod video...so yeah it is that a good idea? i do love 2 get one but hmmm once you buy it the koolness of it fades away eg, u get bored of it and want somethink else newer. ? get what i mean?
i dunno whether i should get 30gb or the 80gb?

I held out on getting an ipod for the longest time. Finally I broke down and got a video ipod. & I don't know how I lived without it. I love downloading movies, television shows, anything, and being able to watch them anywhere.

I have the 30gb, which I thought I would regret, but it holds more than I thought it would. I have all my music, all my pictures, a season of arrested development, a season of south park, podcasts, etc, and it's only about halfway full.

You could spend the $300 on a ton of things. Clothes, food, a day trip, a nice hotel room for a night, a scuzzy hotel room for two weeks, bills, or you could just let it sit. Either way, have fun spending it.
