i was watching this magic revealed show and it shows how its done. the "magician" or "illusionist" does this special move where they make it look like they are an inch or 2 off the ground. then they record the audience reaction and then theyll go back later and hoist him up on a cram then splice the scenes together and hes floating a foot off the ground. its all about the angles of the feet and the audience.
