depends on parents morals. If there very against it then no. However if the child is mature enuf to watch it...like if your kid is screaming at night from nightmares then obviously an r rated scary movie or whatever it may be wouldn't work. Now if it's sexually related r then i would say depends on age and what you want to have your kid seeing. I find no harm in certain movies while others there is a no way!!! if the kids 7 then he will probably be telling all his friends and his friends will tell his parents and this may get back to you.
