Where have all the small music shops gone?
When was the last time you visited a small record store? I live in a big city and we have no independent shops at all, its all HMV and Virgin Megastores!. Where have they gone?
Answers:
They are put out of business by the larger stores/supermarkets who buy in larger quantities and can sell cheaper. Much the same as in my area not only have the record stores vanished but also the greengrocers,newsagents, butchers, bakers, sports shops etc etc. Tragic.
