What is wrong with Dream Theater?

Please be sure you know what you're talking about, Dream Theater isn't your typical heavy metal band. Ok, as far as I can tell, John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy are the best players in the world on guitar and drums, respectively. John Myung (bassist) is really good, James LaBrie (singer) is phenomenal, especially in his younger days, and Jordan Rudess (keyboards) is also a god at what he does. They have a huge amount of creativity, and a huge variety. A lot of the stuff they play isn't even metal, and they do it flawlessly. They also prove that the correct answer to the question, "What do you do to music?" is not DANCE, but LISTEN. That's what you're supposed to do anyway. Lyrically, they are amazing. They have so many hidden things in the intricate storylines in each and every song they write its incredible! Now, I'm not trying to say that if you don't like D.T. you suck, b/c you can have your own opinion, I'm asking why someone would deny that they are simply the best band ever?

Please say why they aren't the best if you don't think so and argue why another band may be better.

Also please forgive the albums LaBrie had a hard time on after his accident. His worst albums were Falling into Infinity and Scenes from a Memory.
