simple..
spare time can be both short and long, try and find something that can be done for any length of time and that you will enjoy. there are many things, you are the only one who can really make a choice in that matter but....
reading - expands the mind, learn new things, and you dont even have to leave the house!
T.V. - FUN. there is nothing wrong with a bit of TV to fill in the gaps.
Computer - surf the web, play some games, its all up to you.
Chat - Socialization is a great, healthy and fun thing to do, it can be on IM, e-mail, the PHONE - a very taken for granted machine, or even better IN PERSON - go out with ur friends
Animal - Pets are great company, and are fun too!
Boardgames - Take some time off your computer and play the games before PS2
Hobby - find something you enjoy/are good at. sports are great hobbies because they keep you active, also try drawing (if your into it) because it is healthy and relaxes you mind for a little while in your busy day.
maybe not so simple.. but i had to give you some options, different people like different things.
