Suggestions for my grandfather's 85th B-day party.?
My grandfather will be celebrating his 85th B-day next month and we plan on having a party for him. It won't be too big, his 8 children (5 of which live out of state and he doesn't see very often), some grandchildren, and a few close friends. We figure about 25 total. I would appreciate some creative ideas for decorating. It will be held in their backyard under a tent. The yard is not very large and there is no grass. I was thinking we could incorporate some pictures...somehow? I keep coming to a creativity block. Help!

Do a "this is our life" skit. Go from when he was born or a small child to the present. You could find old newspaper clippings, photos, etc. from his birthyear. (library or internet). If you have a laptop computer - you could do a power point presentation of his life - download photos of him over the year. At the end of the party, you could let off 85 balloons!! Have fun!!
