Warped Tour Questions... More?!

Question:

Warped Tour Questions... More?

What is the price range of tickets?
Is it worth it to buy tickets closer to the front?
Is the front like super crowded to the point that you can barely move?
Where Can I buy tickets? Anyone got a site?
If the Warped Tour is set up so that people can only stay in one section, does that mean that all the stages are going to be equally as far away from you as possible?
Does an all access backstage pass let you get closer all the time? Like if you have the back back back seating, does the all access pass let you go anywhere you want?
And also, if people are separated into sections by their tickets, how do they get to the vendors?

And.. to anyone with prior experience with the Warped Tour, if you have anything you feel is vital information for fans going to the Warped Tour, please comment too!

Thanks!

Somebody has been telling you lies because that's not how warped tour works.
Tickets are $25.25 you can purchase them on Ticketmaster.com or go to www.warpedtour.com. There is no price range. Everybody's ticket costs exactly the same. You go to the arena or wherever it is, park your car, go to the main entrance, get your ticket ripped, and then you're free to go wherever you want. If you want to stand in the very front feel free. I wouldn't advise being in the very very front because all the crowd surfers get passed up there so its annoying when you're trying to watch your favorite band and get distracted by someone's foot in your face. And yes it's quite difficult to move up in the front because you have hundreds of people behind pushing forward so they can get closer. The center near the front is the best.
There is no back seating or front seating because there are no seats, so you're not limited in any respect. You go to whatever stages you want to go to and stand where ever you want to stand.

The way it works is that there are several stages. Two are the mainstages, mainstage left and mainstage right, where the headliners play and then there are like seven smaller stages where the other bands play. You can check out the line-up at www.warpedtour.com. You won't know what time specific bands are playing until you're actually there. They have a huge inflatable line-up board that shows all the stages and what bands are playing at what time. I usually get there at like 11 a.m. because they'll have really good bands to start the day off and if you go late and you see you missed that one band that you really wanted to see, you'll be pissed.

Here's some practical advice that all first-timers should know because those of us who know better will point and laugh:
1. Depending on where you live it's likely to be very hot so dress for the weather but girls, don't roll up in a mini-skirt or some other crap like that. Never done it but I've seen girls do it. Just don't, you'll regret it.
2. Wear sneakers or something else that'll protect your feet because you're gonna get stomped on. No avoiding it. DON'T wear flip-flops because you'll lose one or both of them at some point and people will point and laugh because you'll have to walk on the hot, dirty concrete barefoot for the rest of the day.
3. Don't wear hats or a piece of jewelry that you're particularly attached to because 9 times out of 10 at the end of the day after being shoved and grabbed and pushed it's gonna be gone. Hats are the best because the sun gets brutal after a few hours so wear one that you wouldn't mind losing.
4. On a similar note don't wear clothes that you'll cry over if they get messed up. People like to throw bottles of water while waiting for bands to come on stage. Occassionaly you'll get that jerk who throws a bottle of Mountain Dew Code Red or any such other colored drink that will find your white shirt like a heat seeking missile.
5. WEAR SUNTAN LOTION. Sure it doesn't smell or feel the best but you'll pat yourself on the back when you spot some other person who looks like a lobster because they didn't wear it.
6. Stay hydrated. If seen a lot of people pass out because in all the excitement they forgot to drink a bottle of water. It’s embarrassing when you have to be thrown over Security’s shoulder and shooed into the First Aid tent. Not fun but totally avoidable so please stay hydrated.

Most of all just go and have fun. It's a great time especially when you're with a group of friends. Hope to see you out there!
