Does buying multiple copies of an album on itunes raise the artist's rank?
Okay, weird question but...
When you purchase more than one copy of an album off the itunes store, does that contribute to the rank of the artist? Basically, do they rate the artist by # of copies sold, or by the # of people who buy it?
The purpose of this question is that a fangroup wants to raise the rank of a music artist on the Top 100 Pop Album itunes list, and wants to make sure that they are not wasting their money buy buying multiple copies.
