Is it to be 'out on our own' the same as 'out of ourselves'?!
Question:
Is it to be 'out on our own' the same as 'out of ourselves'?
I've read in a B. Dylan lyrics (everyone know which one I'm talking about) "to be out on your own". But I don't get its meaning, unless thinking it as "to be our of oneself". However I ain't sure if this fits to that...
Can I interpret such a verse like this?
Thank you all in antecipation,

Answers:
"Out on our own" means having no one to depend upon financially. Independent.
"Out of ourselves" means all of you are not yourselves or have gone loco.
