john simm plays him just like the doctor, you know new voice, he is excited and bit of an optimist. i thought he was great. the reason for why he plays him like that to show how simular they are. like paralals.
Answers:
He is quite menacing, nice to see Tennants character quite taken aback by him, if a little scared. I think Simm is an altogether more darker Master which really made the programme alot more edgier.
