I've got the Budget but I don't know, Gibson SG or a Fender Stratocaster?
I'm a beginner and I've saved enough money to buy one of these two:-

but What does a Whammy Bar do? Because I was thinking about the Gibson SG but I had a second thought because the SG doesn't have one while the Strat has one.
And Please note that I'm a beginner, I mean haven't touched a guitar yet!

These folks have the right idea...Strats have a great sound, although that's a lot of money to sink into a piece of equipment that you haven't learned to play yet...I would learn on something a little more practical, but hey---maybe it will inspire you to stick with it! Good luck.
BTW: A "whammy bar" distorts/ adds vibrato to a held note played on the guitar.
