Silver Surfer as a super villain?!

Silver Surfer as a super villain?

I keep seeing Polls, comments, and questions referring to the Silver Surfer as one the all time super villains of the Marvel Universe. Where are you kids getting that from? Please explain to me how he is a villain? There was only a very brief period that I'm aware of that he was a bad guy, and he quickly reformed then.

Fool in the Rain- I know what the movie is about. I still don't see how that makes him a super villain.

The Silver Suffer isn't a super villain, he doesn't have a choice, hes a slave.
