hey how much should I expect to pay for private guitar lessons in Australia. The quotes I have are around the $18 per half hour mark..... this seems a bit expensive to me

unfortunately that's a normal price. If you knew anyone who could teach you it would save you a lot of money but if you can't, that's a normal lesson price sorry.
