What do I do with a done film script, especially if it is a big bluster material!
Question:
What do I do with a done film script, especially if it is a big bluster material?
Because when one has it, there doesn't seem to be anybody interested. I found sites that charge a lot for who knows what report of the movie business market, like $5000 to get on a special list for 3 months. I don't know what to do.
Answers:
Do a ring around in your local area for bookclubs, newspapers, anything that deals in writing. Sometimes you might come across someone that deals in purely script writting. Or you could try your local theatrical group, tell them you have a script ( but dont leave it with them!) and ask them where you would find a reputable editor to view your work. Try emailing or ringing some of the known local produces, they might not be taking new work in, but they might also point you in the right direction.
