Ideas for a double birthday party (16th and 18th)?!
Question:
Ideas for a double birthday party (16th and 18th)?
My friend who's turning 16 and I (I'm turning 18) are going to have a dual birthday party this summer, and we need some ideas. We don't want to do the boring, just hang out and talk type of party; we want something that has a theme and an activity, but we don't want it too forced or structured. We also don't want something that the guests will have to pay for, like a movie or a trip to the Bead Factory. We're going to invite 20 to 30 people, boys and girls. It'll likely be at my house (unless we do something like laser tag), and I live right on the water and have a big backyard. Also, my friends and I are kind of nerds, so anything to do with Renaissance or Harry Potter, etc would be welcome. Two ideas that I have that I would love to hear your thoughts on: Murder Mystery Night & Scavenger Hunt around town. Please help us make this a unique, creative, and memorable party!
Answers:
Murder Mystery Night sounds fun. You could assign each guest a role as they enter and even use household stuff for props. You can spend the time figuring out who did it.
