How do you know if you can make good beats like dj khaled, and what do you need to become a well known dj?
Answers:
To become a good DJ you need to practice, practice and practice. Your decks are a musical instrument and have to be played like they are. You also have to love music and understand it's ability to move people.
You also have to judge the mood of the crowd, it is never just enough to play the music that you like - you have to be able to change the tempo of a room if a certain beat is not working even if it means playing stuff that you don't necessarily like.
Like any profession it takes perseverence and luck, I was lucky enough to have a good 10 years DJ'ing but it took 2 years before I started to become recognized (and well paid)
