Tell him to go and live with Martin for a while. Tell Martin that he's got to try and change this kid around before he goes completely off the rails.
David knows his mum'll always be there for him - so, no matter how loud she shouts he knows she'll give in in the end.
If he was a bit older - like 18 - then I'd pack his suitcase - find him a bedsit - get him a job interview and leave him to it! He'd live 'cos he'd have to. I left home when I just turned 18 - and it's not long before you realise what life is all about.
I was also pretty horrible to my mum - and later on in life when I had my own kids I started getting on well with her. It was a shame she passed away - I feel like I'd just started a proper relationship with her.
Anyway, I digress! ........ kick him out, Gail!!
