How does the song "Teenagers" fit in the My Chemical Romance album &qu!

Question:

How does the song "Teenagers" fit in the My Chemical Romance album "The Black Parade"?

I know the whole album is all about "The Patient". I understand all of the other songs, and when listening to a MCR interview Gerard said that the song was just about him and how he was afraid of teenagers on the subway? I don't know. So anyways if anyone could explain to me how it fits in? Is the patient just like afraid of teenagers or something?? Oh and thoughts on the new vid would be appreciated too. Thanks! See ya later.

seahy_mj,
i don't think the patient was killed by teenagers. i think he was killed because of cancer, and that's why they wrote the song about it? idk. thanks for your input tho. i do think the vid has a deep meaning, more than just a regular concert!

Answers:

Teenagers fits in to the album bc of teen violence and what teenagers are doing these days. that's what Gee said about the teenagers song. Oh and the patient is the guy in the welcome to the black parade vid and u know Gerard thinks that death will come to you how you want it and the Patient fav memory is of a parade that his dad took him to when he was young. i don't think the patient has to do with every song on the album
