Restoring a Gibson J-150??!
Question:
Restoring a Gibson J-150??
I am trying to sell my Gibson J-150. It has a few problems with it and needs to be restored. The neck is bent a few millimeters and the pickguard has come off. It needs to be refinished and needs new frets. Should I restore it before I try to sell it, or sell it as is and let the buyer restore it?
Answers:
Try to sell it first as is, somebody might want to restore it themselves. If you can't move it, THEN try to invest a little money in it and restore it. Don't spend too much money doing this because you run the risk of never making your money back.
