What is the best electric guitar to start off with?
What is the best electric guitar to start off with? I already have a Crate Amp with a cord. All I need is a guitar. I was thinking about maybe finding a used Fender Stratocaster for around 300$ or so, hopefully an American-Made one. But what's your opinion?
Answers:
You won't find an American-made Strat for $300 unless it's beat-up with a warped neck and in that case you don't want it. If you want the Strat look, get a Mexican or Indonesian Strat or consider a Squier, which is Fender's lower price line. These will all fit into your $300 budget and will leave room for a case, tuner and extra strings.
