Are 45's (7" records) marked "Not for Resale" worth more?!

Question:

Are 45's (7" records) marked "Not for Resale" worth more?

I was given a few boxes of records, 45's from the late 60's-early 70's mostly, and most are marked "Not for Resale" or "Radio Station Copy". I'm guessing they belonged to someone who once was a DJ in the Detroit area. Are these more valuable than regular pressings? Legal to sell? Where can i find a good online price guide for 'em?

Answers:

those are 'promo records' issued to radio stations...and, yes, they can be more valuable to collectors than the 'commercial' pressings...however, keep in mind that condition is a big factor in overall worth...legalities are really no concern since nobody keeps track of records like that...as far as 'price guide'?...well...they are worth as much as you can get for them, y'know?
