Alittle in love with asian music?

All I listen to realy is asian music, I used to listen to american music when I was younger, but I herd Coco lee on a movie sound track then I feel in love with asian music, I guess because it actualy sounds like music, and not all about SEX and KILLING people and Drugs, thats what i seem to see american music is like. I cant stand it. Alot of asian music has good lyrics too like ayumi hamasaki's songs.
What do asian people think about a westerner only listing to asian music?, and what about people like me, why do you like asian music?
BTW: Since i like the music that lead me to follow the singers, Like the celebretys and i love to know the gossip and news,
Like Harisu is getting married, or somthing like that, what do you think?

Music is the one truly universal language. Every person has their own tastes in music but in truth, all music is 'the same.' By that I mean it can make you feel happy or sad..no matter what 'style' it is. Personally I appreciate many styles, and dislike a few as well. It's simply my own opinion and I would never seriously criticize another person for their tastes (though I will admit I do jokingly kid them). As for the 'celebrity' aspect, it is the music I enjoy, not necessarily the messenger...their private lives are their own. Too much publicity of a negative manner can (and has) turned me off of some artists, but for the most part...the song is all. My wife is Asian but I have listened to Asian music for years, some of it is very good, some not so much. Just like Western music...but that's just my opinion. :)
