interestingly, Alan Moore did not support the film.
too Americanised he said. well, he said a great deal more than that. but it was long those lines.

That reminds me...I have seen the movie, I really enjoyed it, and now I have the Graphic Novel to read...One day I will get around to it.

In other words. I liked it a lot..Theme was okay too:)

Okay okay I get the message.....I am not used to reviewing books/movies so this will be a tad short.
The torture of the girl in my opinion may have been there to portray that "V" was basically a nutter, his answers to thet roubles of his time were somewhat extreme even though his motives were understandable. Nowadays, if you put a group of people from another land together who do the same thing they will be called terrorists...Being as he was one man and fighting for the UK way of life he is called a hero.
Another thought on the torture of the girl, could this also be a form of brainwashing, getting the girl to see his way of thinking?
Reminds me a little of George Orwells 1984.
