Star Trek Fans - Considering The Re-Launch Of A Mirror Group.......?
And would like to get some feedback. The group was called Star Trek Imperium, and was loosely based on episodes from TOS, TNG, and DS9 that looked at a parallel reality where the Federation was a conquering, evil empire.
I'm looking at reviving this club, opening chapters, and giving existing fans an alternative form of fandom while still getting together for shared entertainment, community service work and more.
The club structure would still be para military in basis, but without such a strict protocol, limited reporting requirements, and a less stringent chapter formation requirements that current groups such as Starfleet International, IFT, KLI, and others have.
Does anyone have any SERIOUS input here?

The reason for military structure - mirror based - so opposite of peace and exploration.
Plus - it helps in setting up a recognizeable chain of command for club org.

You've piqued my interest...but why does it have to militaristic? The original concept of "Star Trek" is peaceful exploration. Remember the prime directive.
