I need some overlooked bands to listen to??? plz help?

i have this thing where i like to listen to music that not many ppl go for these days...idk maybe i just like to jam and bands these days from what i hear cant offer that..i listen to jackyl, monster magnet, iron maiden(i know there poular still but bruce rocks), maybe something comparable to them. or something with a southern rock influence and dont say skynyrd or doobie brothers cuz i listen to them and love every minute of it. just something with good guitar work and a good singer
