How do you get air in a half pipe?

there is an apogee. it's the point in the air you are weightless. you can do any trick right here inside or before you enter the apogee. but when you gain weight, it is too late. vert is weird for anyone who started jumping street stairs and roofs. learn each part of the trick seperate and then put it all together.
1. can you go off the vert, get air and land on the flat of the deck?
2. learn to land on vert. stand in the bottom and walk up the tranny a little, set the board down and hold it. jump on the board and roll down the tranny to the flat. now try jumping, putting the board under your feet while in the air and landing on the tranny and rolling away. it doesn't matter how far up the tranny you go.
3. then try standing on the deck and acid dropping into the vert like a drop in with air. remember, stay balled up, keep you legs bent and pulled into your chest. at the last second stretch them out. wait till you are close enough to the ground to "stomp the board down. don't just stretch your legs out and wait to land.

a 180 melon has about 7 points that you could be messing up at. you might think you are having trouble with the trick when really it's only one little bitty facet of the trick.
