;-) They're wondering who shaved their hair off. Marching IS peaceful. It's a peaceful way of letting the powers that be know when we aren't particularly happy about something. They weren't being violent or anything.
And, yes, pensioners just MAY riot in their public library. If they were ticked off enough about something. I believe that monks are people just like every one else. Monks are known for inventing the martial arts as well as setting themselves on fire as a form of protest. A million monk march? Being peaceful doesn't mean you don't stand up to tyrants. It actually means that you do. they may "preach ,goodness and kindness".

I for one admire their extreme courage
they protest on behalf of others with no reguard to their own safety.
there have been 100s of monks along with 1000s of people killed by this military regime.

but it is peacefull! lol yea, I was a bit shocked when I heard that, so it must be serious.......................... they're marching about, I forgot now) Yes, marching can be a peaceful way of demonstrating your feelings on an issue. Remember, Martin Luther King believed in peaceful and lawful protest but he organized marches.
Plus, it shows this is a really important issue to make them stop their meditations and leave their temples. hi blue, the only monks i have heard of, are the ones on most haunted, and they are not peacfull joke
