Re-stringing a 12-string?!

Question:

Re-stringing a 12-string?

Hoping for some help here - I need to replace 2 strings on my 12 string guitar - what's the best way to get the pins out at the bridge? They seem very tight? (The guitar is qute new...)

Any help appreciated.....

Answers: Ah ha - you just got lucky. Do not use pliars you could snap it off.
I discovered that using a thin Tea Spoon was great for levering them up. I had to restring my 12 many times and it became way easier using a Tea spoon.
I wouldnt use oil - nope.
Let me know how you get on - its very easy. Go gently thats all A bit of oil(WD 40 helps) At the end of the string itself is a small metal loop. Yanking hard on the string directly upwards (in the direction the pin will come out) will help dislodge the pin. wrap a plaster around the pin-head, then gently grip it with a plier, then a gentle twist and wallah!!!
