Concert help?
Okay, so:
1) How do you get tickets? Do you buy them before-hand or do you buy them at the show? It depends on the band/performance, right?
2) How should you dress? Any tips or mistakes you've made? e.g. What to wear, what not to wear.. Just personal experience.
No useless comments, please. I know you guys need the points, but what I need is good answers.
Answers: 1) it depends on the band. I JUST got home from a concert, it was Bloc Party, and even though they're pretty popular, hardly anyone showed up!! They were selling tickets at the door. Usually it's best to buy them before hand though. I got mine a week before the show. And you can get them at the place where the concert will be, or online at ticketmaster.ca or other websites.
2) Again, it depends on where and who it is, if you're going somewhere packed, where people will be dancing, then wear summer clothes (shorts, skirt, t-shirt, tank-top etc). But if it's somewhere where there won't be alot of people (example: the concert I was just at, I wished I had brought a sweater!!) then wear jeans and a t-shirt, or weather appropriate clothing.
usually though it's good to wear summer clothes, you never know.
and don't wear your favorite pair of jeans, or your favorite shirt, you never know what might happen! I'm not saying wear clothes you don't care about, I'm just saying that you should keep in mind that accidents DO happen, especially in places with alot of people. Some of whom will probably be intoxicated.
anything else you need to know? Get tickets before hand so you don't have to wait in the will call line. Boo to the will call line. Never wear a bands t-shirt to the show. Ever. Never buy the t-shirt at the show and put it on over the shirt you walked in wearing. Don't dress up in your sunday's best, you'll just sweat through it. Wear deoderant. Drink heavily. for good seats get them as soon as they go on sale.
depends on the music,if there is a mosh pit, if yur gonna be in the pit. if your gonna bein the pit where clothes u don't ccare about they will get ruinned. your if your just in seats jeans will be fine. buy tickets before. and if it's a popular band/person, get in line before they go on sale. go in comfortable clothes, and comfortable shoes. i got blisters from wearing fancy shoes.
