Halo 3 Plot Questions (Spoilers Included)?
Yes I beat the game, but so much happened I got fuzzy on some parts afterwards. This contains spoilers. I'm confused on two parts. Wikipedia summarizes the part I'm confused on:
Truth activates the artifact and creates an enormous slipspace portal, into which all the Covenant ships retreat. As the humans weigh their options, a Covenant ship controlled by the Flood arrives by slipspace and crash-lands nearby, the parasite within quickly spreading throughout the city.
The Master Chief and the Arbiter attempt to fight off the Flood, aided by the arrival of the Elite fleet, which proceeds to glass areas that have been infected. Keyes, the Master Chief, the Arbiter, and the Elite fleet decide to follow Truth.
Ok they follow Truth, but what about the Flood that just crashed on Earth. I remember fighting them off but what happened to them? Also the Arc ring was fired killing off the Flood on the Arc, but what about the Flood on Earth? I'm playing again it again, but plz clarify.
