Question:
Someone told me it would cost about $300 to see "The Rolling Stones" in concert. Are they right?
Answers: Hey, it's not like when you and I were young. Back then, you could get a concert ticket for $25 but, nowadays, pretty much all concert tickets are $100 or more and a band with the reputation and history of the Rolling Stones would certainly command a higher ticket price.
That $300 sounds about right. They might charge less in a smaller venue. I seem to remember them playing somewhere around my part of the country and charging $200 years ago. Yeah. At least here (major metropolitan city) the tickets sell out from Ticketmaster or the box office of the venue about 5 minutes after they go on sale. So your only real option for getting them is to go to a ticket broker, who is going to charge an astronomical price. (Even if you manage to get tickets a more conventional way, they aren't going to be cheap.)
I don't know about you, but just for the experience, I plan on shelling it out the next time they tour here.
