Going to a concert?!

Question:

Going to a concert?

Im looking to buy tickets to a concert in london next year, but am confused about the seating arrangements. What the heck are they on about when they mention "circle" / "stalls" etc - i know that there may be a standing area at the front and seating, but what are the circle and stalls area? I have never been to a concert before, so any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

Answers: Hi the stalls are on the floor infront of the stage and go all the way to the back wall. The dress circle is the first tier above and the circle is above that, if the place is big it will also have the 'gods' which are so high you need to put 20p in the slot to use the binoculars! they are right up at the top and at the back, get in the mosh pit! Depending where you are buying your tickets you will be able to look at the seating chart. Its just diffrent seating areas. Velvet's spot on. Although the price for the crappy placcy binoculars has gone up to 50p. :o) I bought tickets to a show in Rome a while back from a site called SeatBOT.com. The Seat Maps they have are pretty good and I can tell you from my experience they ship the tickets pretty fast should you decide to order from them.
