Why do so many people hate Madonna?
I know people who don't like her and we always disagree on things. Some peple don't like her for singing and talking about sex,but isn't sex supposed to be a natural thing? They also don't like her for speaking her mind and having her words heard, but don't we have the right to speak our minds and say how we feel? And others have a silly reason "Because she's old" to me that's not a good reason to hate someone. I just don't get it maybe I should hear someone elses opinion.

of her quite yet, but people get jealous of her good looks and talent. look at paris hilton; some may disagree, but alot hate her because she's successful and good looking, and she has the big money. its just the way we react when someone is sucessful. I love everything about Madonna. shes a racist old annyoing fart some people have nothin better to do she kissed brittany spears...ewww!
other than that i dont really hate her..
her more recent music is so much better though..
material girl..yuk that song was annoying! idk maybe people are jealous, ive heard they think its kinda wrong at her age to give herself that appeal? I think she's a total babe:-) I think people just don't understand her or don't want to. She speaks her mind and tells it like it is and too many people are afraid of that in a woman. I think she is wonderful!!! people are just hatin' on her because she not young and she looks better than some people who are young. Because that "italian" does it better and more times than others.She,Queen of in,your face. I dislike her for several reasons.
1. She cannot sing.
2. She seems to feel no genuine affection or love for anything
3. She is vulgar
4. She has coarsened the culture.
5. She is disrespectful towards religion, and religious symbols.
6. She cannot act. "Evita" is an abominable film.
7. She is absurd. it is preposterous that someone so materialistic should embrace the Kabbalah. I don't hate her, I used to when I was in 7th grade...but that was because a boy I liked thought she was a goddess....gotta love 7th grade=)
I don't care for her latest music, I liked her old stuff, but her new songs are not my taste. I love her songs but her performences are just so fake and overdone sorry. But I love the music! People actually say they don't like her because she is 'old'? Wow! I'm certain that would curl her toes..or not!
I think Madonna has a certain air of arrogance that cause many people to 'hate' her, although that same arrogance could also be called self confidence, and a reason for many people to admire her.
IMHO, she's become a little too self-important lately, and seems to have forgotten her roots as an American Catholic girl from Michigan (who also used to be a cheerleader and A student, btw). It doesn't cause me to 'hate' her, but I'm less impressed with her than I was 20 years ago.
The faux Brit accent is the deal breaker. she's successful because she has exploited the North American obsession with sex. Some people with a working moral compass resent that. Madonna has survived a long time in a tough business.
She has made some really good records...she has sure had a lot of hits.
Madonna is an enigma...she at times has a mystical element. People may not like her because she's "the material girl" or whatever.
I wonder how much longer she can last. As she gets older...she's in her late 40s now...it is harder and harder to appeal to a youth market.
That was easy when she was 23 and the hottest looking babe on the scene, which was MTV at the time.
She is no fly by night. do you really need to ask?? People hate Madonna because of the religious controversy she created with the cross symbols on stage she used to have during her half nude shows. but im not sure if she is an Italian roman catholic or is she jewish, im not sure what her religion is these days.
