Why do the range of prices change so much for the same ticket?!

Question: I want to go to the "Young Wild Things" Tour (fall out boy, gym class heroes, plain white t's and cute is what we aim for =D) in San Diego, and I found in Ticketmaster that a G.A. ticket (general admission, i guess) costs $30... but I was checking some other places in the internet, and they can even cost $170!

Is this normal? Both seem to be in the front of the stage but standing... and still they have $140 in difference

can somebody explain me this? are they the same kind of tickets?

this is kind of my first big concert so I don't want to be fooled because of the price :]

It's legal scalping. Different ticket outlets buy a certain amount of tickets, or have deals with ticket master, in hopes that ticketmaster will sell out. Then they can basically charge you whatever kind of surcharge they want.
Buy the $30 GA tickets while you have the chance.
