Something explain this "All your ___ are belong to us" thing?!

Question: I swear I see it everywhere on the internet these days and I don't know what it refers to.

Answers: I swear I see it everywhere on the internet these days and I don't know what it refers to.
The original phrase was "all your base are belong to us", it was from a Japanese video game in the 80s.
It has to do with online video games. I think it started with Halo. The original saying was "All your base belong to us". Then it just took off from there.
it actually refers to the 1989 Japanese video game Zero Wing and since it was such a cheaply and quickly made game it had funny stuff like that in it.
