Most definitely.

I was with my ex for six months and he didn't want to be in the relationship in the first place. I was quick to fall hard. I loved him so much, he was my everything. He cheated on me and I never thought I would take someone back after that, but silly me, I did.
He ended up breaking up with me because the girl he cheated on me with kept telling him that him and I weren't right for each other and that she wanted to give him everything I couldn't.
In the end, I was broken hearted and miserable while he was out sleeping with other people. It hurt so bad.

Pain is different for everyone. If this other person is that quick to drop you, then drop them first. It'll still hurt but not as bad. It'll be a surprise to them, and make them re-think their decision. Eventually, they make ask to try again, but be VERY hesitant about taking them back.

For now, just watch a really good movie and eat some really good icecream or something. It works for everyone, I promise.


As an update, I am now engaged and my ex who broke my heart is one of my best friends. He will be engaged in the next few months.
So things change for the better if you let life take its course!
